Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle is the nail in the coffin, hopefully for the evil progenitor of demons, Muzan Kibutsuji! The culmination of four seasons depicting Tanjiro Kamado’s journey as a demon slayer to find the strength to destroy Muzan and cure his demon sister, Nezuko, is on the way. Thankfully, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment acquired the rights to release the three films to audiences so they can enjoy the cinematic, animated wonder in theaters.
Based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, the anime has all the material to finish as the manga run ended a while ago. Still, there is still fun from side stories. Plus, the fourth season just aired the finale—a finale that ended with Muzan dropping every single demon slayer into the Infinity Castle, courtesy of his instrument-strumming powerful demon, Nakime. So now, they have to battle through hoards of monsters to slay Muzan. Hence, the trilogy’s name, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle.
Aside from the lower-level demons, there are still the remaining Kizuki: Nakime, who controls the Infinity Castle; Akaza, who killed Rengoku; Doma, whose abilities we have yet to see in the anime; and Muzan’s number one Kizuki, Kokushibo. The odds are not in the demon slayers’ favor. However, if the mark awakens in more Hashira, it could level the playing field. While there is no release date, the anticipation is part of the excitement. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle is sure to smash records and stun viewers with its enthralling, next-level animation.
