Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle release date announcement has arrived! For the trilogy’s first film, fans finally have a date for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle. The Hashira Training Arc was a short season in The Demon Slayerseries. Though there were fascinating glimpses into the different Hashira’s personalities, it was a light and comedic season. That is until the final episode.
The entirety of the the Hashira, but Tanjiro even moreso, epitomized the essence of on-sight energy when they see Muzan. Watching that scene is spine-tingling. Each Hashira and Tanjiro call out their moves, only to see Muzan smirk as hell breaks loose. When fans hear the biwa, their shock and excitement build. The finale ends as Muzan drops every demon slayer, from Hashiras on down, into his infinity castle. So, it’s the final fight on both sides—the beginning of the end. And it starts with the first film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle.
Releasing in the United States and Canada in IMAX and other premium large formats, the movie, directed by Haruo Sotozaki and based on the popular manga by Koyoharu Gotoge, continues the story of Tanjiro’s fight to defeat Muzan and cure his sister, Nezuko, who is a demon because of Muzan. Fans of the series will recall that aside from a slew of lower-level demons, there are still a few of Muzan’s top-ranked demons. Our favorite demon slayers must face them, including Muzan’s top three: Akaza, Doma, and Kokushibo.
This set of films spells the end. Either Muzan will wipe out all the demon slayers and devour Nezuko to get her ability to withstand the sun, or the demon slayers will defeat Muzan. The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle release date for the U.S. and Canada is September 12th, 2025, and other international release dates have been announced.
