Bofuri 12 has guild escapades and various pairings as they explore the depths of the stratum’s ocean with mysterious creatures and new dangers and strategies.
Bofuri 12, known as Bofuri I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense, leaves readers guessing skill potential. As Maple Tree guildies venture into the submerged eighth stratum in the game, the volume delves into the thrill of acquiring new skills. While it feels like a build-up to the next event, it’s entertaining as Maple and Sally adventurously explore the depths together. Bofuri 12 has guild escapades and various pairings as they explore the depths of the stratum’s ocean with mysterious creatures and new dangers and strategies.
Authored by Yuumikan, illustrated by Koin, and translated by Andrew Cunningham, this volume immerses readers in the under-the-sea eighth stratum. The Yen Press light novel continues the series’ lighthearted nature of gaming, free from toxicity, painting an ideal gaming world. And, of course, it wouldn’t be Bofuri if Maple didn’t solve battles in an unorthodox style. However, the level presents unforeseen challenges requiring new strategies from many Maple Tree members.
Bofuri 12 Presents Disadvantages For Our Favorites
While Maple is incredibly tanky on land with various methods to travel despite not leveling anything beyond defense, the water presents exciting new challenges. So, Maple and other unevenly stacked members must find ways to navigate the water. Fortunately, it does not slow Sally down much. Plus, as it’s all underwater, and gamers must plumb the icy depths for dungeons and treasure, NWO sets up items they must acquire for diving suits. The further they go, the better their gear is for these suits. Seeing them pair up to fight foes is always a fun time.
But now, Sally’s trying to understand how Maple’s mind works. Sally’s analytic skills in combat are outstanding. However, she does not think outside the box like Maple. Maple’s constantly shocking the game developers by besting foes in unforeseen ways. So, Bofuri 12 is not just Sally playing alongside Maple but also trying to understand her. Yet, there’s a sliver of undertone that implies she is prepping to one day fight Maple. Previous volumes made it clear that Sally refuses to lose a PvP (player versus player) battle until she faces Maple.
Maple Will Give Players and Developers Nightmares
Maple’s skills are already on par with dungeon or even raid bosses. It’s at the point that other players believe she’s the game’s final boss. What’s fascinating is how both Maple and Sally found new skills that complement their abilities. But Maple’s new talents will hilariously incorporate a stock of bombs to blow herself up. The developers have not nerfed Maple’s ability because her quirkiness is an excellent promotion for the game. However, heart palpitations for the developers are imminent. It’s also comically contagious as Sally, Mai, Yui, and almost everyone else in Maple Tree embraces strange skills.
Bofuri 12 is an eighth stratum, aquatic exploration with battles and fun. Maple keeps readers on their toes, wondering how she’ll incorporate her new skills into the looming PvP event. Considering it’s two camps, there are many questions about whether Maple Tree will all be on the same team and whether they’ll face their friends/rivals and new foes. Bofuri 12 remains a fun read, catching up with beloved characters and wishing for a game and guild like Maple Tree.
