Through comedic storytelling and full-color illustrations, Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom 4 maintains the same vibrant, hilarious, dramatic pace of the previous volumes.
Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom 4 shows how contagious Abigail’s goodness is, even if she has the chilling villain’s smile. It continues a refreshing take on the Snow White story, easily encompassing size and gender-restricted clothing issues. The romantic sentiments continue building gradually, and readers cannot help but adore Abigail. Through comedic storytelling and full-color illustrations, Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom 4 maintains the same vibrant, hilarious, dramatic pace of the previous volumes.
With an original story by Iru and illustrations by Mo9Rang, it continues where it left off, with Lady Karen experiencing what many women go through, bleeding through their clothes. Translated by Kakao Entertainment and lettered by Chana Conley, the series remains one of the most endearing and heartwarming stories. That is mostly because of Abigail. Despite her obsession to outshine Abigail and try to marry Sabrian, the Yen Press comic has Abigail unsurprisingly showing her kindness. While Abigail is aware of Lady Karen’s schemes, she sympathizes with her nonetheless. Abigail’s natural kindness is a focal point, causing all to gravitate to her.
Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom 4 Shows the Real Villain
He’s been pushy before, but in this volume, Lady Karen’s father, Duke Stoke, is the real villain. It’s a wonder that Lady Karen’s not as vicious. After all, her father only cares about her becoming a second wife to Sabrian. But it’s not only that which makes Duke Stoke so unlikable. He’s condescending, looking down on Abigail. Plus, Stoke even insults her when Sabrian is not around. So, he’s likely the main antagonist of Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom 4 and will continue trying to create discord between Abigail and Sabrian.
Abigail Brings Positive Changes to Society
Since Abigail recalls her previous life in the real world and somehow wound up in the wicked stepmom’s body after someone poisoned the evil woman, she does not subscribe to a lot of the sentiments and restrictions society attempts to put on women. So she makes jackets for women that resemble men’s attire. Despite some interference, it’s a success. Her natural inclination for fashion in her previous life serves her well here. Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom 4 keeps Abigail’s fashion at the core of winning people over.
Still Has Time for Hilarious Antics Between the Couple
Hiccups aside, Abigail and Sabrian’s relationship flourishes. Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom 4 gradually builds up the romance. It’s authentic and sweet because Abigail has trauma from mistreatment, and Sabrian’s abuse as a child compels a slow romantic progression. Still, Sabrian pretends to be dense or wants everyone to gossip about the happy couple.
Watching Abigail’s mortification as Sabrian brings up visiting her every night in front of the staff and Blanche is priceless, side-splitting joy. Plus, seeing Blanche receive more attention from Sabrian is adorable. However, it’s unfortunate that Abigail must push him to spend time with Blanche. While his past is understandable, it does not excuse his neglect.
Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom 4 is fashion-forward in a magical, fairytale world, where the wicked stepmom is enlightened and kind, and the mirror gets to wear new clothes, too. One of the sweeter tales that explores heavier themes of abuse and discrimination, it handles the subject carefully, making the series as a whole a delight. Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom 4continues the comedy and romantic kindlings that make the series one readers will love to revisit.
