The From season 4 teaser doesn’t give much away for what’s coming. However, the reveals alone in last season’s finale, combined with the words inscribed on wood, hint at more answers…and more tragedy. From is the most-watched series in MGM+ history, and with good reason. After all, it’s a phenomenal show. It’s horror and mystery as people stuck in a town fight to survive while new threats emerge, aside from the creatures that come out at night.
Created by John Griffin (Crater, The Twilight Zone), the series stars Harold Perrineau (Claws, Romeo + Juliet) as Boyd Stevens. He is a small-town sheriff trying to hold the residents together as increasing threats in the forest endanger them. Some of the ensemble cast include Catalina Sandino Moreno (The Rip, Ballerina), Ricky He (Rock Springs, Worth the Wait), David Alpay (The Vampire Diaries, Red Rooms), and Avery Konrad (Honor Society, Broil), to name a few.
Still, the From season 4 teaser hints at the discovery of the shocking cliffhanger. The mysterious tall man who murdered Jim Matthews, played by Eion Bailey (Once Upon a Time, Center Stage), shows up in the trailer. Moreover, his words chill, given what we saw at the end of last season. When he says, “what happens next is my favorite part,” we know he’s not talking about anything joyful. Alongside that and various grim expressions from our cast comes the tragically true saying, “knowledge comes at a cost.” However, in this town, it’s far more ominous and deadly.
Although little is shown, there is a new arrival, as evidenced by the From season 4 teaser. So, there are still many unanswered questions. But fans of the series won’t have to wait long for answers because April is right around the corner.
