Anime NYC 2025 Netflix Slate Teases Exciting, Eye-Opening Shows

For Anime NYC 2025 Netflix did not come to play! The events run from Thursday to Sunday. Thursday largely featured artists and exhibitions. Plus, Netflix also showed what’s coming or returning to their streaming service. There are new series, updates on returning series, images, and more!

For returnees, there are a few! First, Devil May Cry returns next year in 2026. The popular anime series by Adi Shankar released earlier this year. It grew in popularity, so fortunately, fans will get to see what awaits Dante in the upcoming new season—a twin brother named Vergil. And if the sword-clashing is any indication, they are not happy to see each other!

Blue Eye Samurai will return for a second season. At Anime NYC 2025 Netflix released new images from the new season. After all, Mizu is not done in her quest for vengeance. As one of the co-creators, Amber Noizumi, stated, “Revenge is her religion.” It seems this path now takes her to dreary London. The Emmy Award-winning series showcases the same smooth and sharp animation, along with a compelling heroine, that hooked audiences in its first season.
