At the Anime NYC Crunchyroll Showcase, a panel highlighted upcoming new series. They also discussed new seasons for anime favorites, and teased a new music-fighting anime series. With the announcements, there seems to be something for everyone, whether it be shonen, isekai, or a feel-good romantic comedy. Here’s a breakdown of what Anime NYC, Crunchyroll premieres, art, and trailers dropped.

First off, Fire Force Season 3 Part 2 begins in January 2026. So, Crunchyroll showed a teaser visual to whet viewers’ appetites in anticipation of what’s to come.

To Your Eternity returns with a third season. Plus, the panel had a surprise as Reiji Kawashima (Anne ShirleyThe Gorilla God’s Go-To Girl), who voices Fushi. He came out to talk about the series and what fans could look forward to with the new season. Also, on top of the anticipatory new season coming in October, there is a documentary film, The Roots of To Your Eternity, that takes audiences on a journey through the series with statements from the creators of the manga and anime. Narrating the journey is Kenjiro Tsuda (Fire ForceJujutsu Kaisen), who voices The Observer in the series.

Monster Meat Cuisine, Reverse Harem Games, and Music Matches

Some new series were also announced during the Crunchyroll panel. They showed the world premiere of the trailer for Let’s Play, along with key visual art for the series. In addition, the trailer includes the opening song “1, 2, Play” and the ending song, “Left & Right,” both performed by Toshinobu Kubota. The series is based on the popular webcomic featuring a video game developer who finds herself navigating romance in real life. It begins streaming on Crunchyroll on October 1st.

Another show with a unique premise is Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! It’s about a noblewoman shunned for her appetite for delicious monster meat. Then one day, during a monster attack, the “Blood-Mad Duke” rescues her, and so begins their relationship…with monster food. This series also begins airing in October.

SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes might bring to mind a recent anime film featuring characters fighting to music, but there’s plenty of room for more. Here, the artists convert audiences’ energy into power, and the battles look like regular performances, so the fans are none the wiser, remaining unaware of the real identities. It’s a co-ed music group, so guys and girls get in on the heroic, musical action. The series begins in October.

Isekai Hero Party Twist

Another series that sounds funny is There was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her. Youki reincarnates as a mid-level demon whose sole purpose is to decimate the hero’s party. Unfortunately, he falls in love with the priestess, Cecilia. It sounds comical with room for so many misunderstandings and fun, making me think of Warm Bodies and The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies

These are just some of the series to look out for that were teased at the Anime NYC Crunchyroll Showcase. As most drop this fall, which ones are you most looking forward to adding to your anime rotation? For me, it’s Let’s Play.
